I believe that recent advances in artificial intelligence are the biggest change to education and work since the internet. On my podcast, AI for Helpers and Changemakers, I interview people who are experts in their fields about how AI is impacting their work and the people they help.

For the festival, I’m hosting a live taping of the show and we will focus on how new AI tools are advancing the work of local scientists who are trying to solve problems like early detection of fires. This is not hypothetical or science fiction, these are current projects in our own community that are using artificial intelligence to help us. If you attend, you’ll have a chance to ask questions and participate in the conversation.

This live podcast taping will be great for middle school students, high school students, and adults or anyone who is interested in learning more about how artificial intelligence is impacting the work of local scientists. The session will include about 40 minutes of interview and 15 minutes of questions and answers with the audience. If you ask a question, your question will be recorded and included on the podcast episode.
