The Flagstaff Festival of Science began in 1990 when Flagstaff area scientists came together with members of the news media to discuss how to share their world of discovery with the public. The result was a three-day festival featuring polar adventurer Will Steger. The Festival was such a success it quickly became a 10-day event and has grown each year in the number of scientists and events!
